Saturday Video: Travel 24 Hours Across Cuba in 2-1/2 Minutes
At 42,426 square miles, Cuba can’t possibly be consumed in small doses. This has become abundantly clear to me in recent weeks as Patrick and I have begun planning our first-ever trip to our home region’s largest island country. There’s so much to see, do and experience here that no matter how long we get to stay, I just know we’ll come away wishing we had more time.
All of this gives me a deep appreciation for today’s featured video. It traces a solid 24-hour span across Cuba in a tidy 2:30 through the magic of timelapse photography.
Like the timelapse posts we’ve shared previously – Trinidad, Old San Juan, Barbados and Pico Duarte in the Dominican Republic – this Cuba offering inspires the wanderlust spirit in us through some absolutely stunning imagery. The shots were captured in Havana, Santiago, Viñales, and Baracoa, providing a nice cross-section of several different areas all across the island.
