1,000 Ways to Maximize Your Caribbean Travel Experiences

1,000!
Cheers to our 1st 1,000 Posts!

Hard to believe, but you’re looking at the 1,000th post since the start of Uncommon Caribbean back in February 2010!

It’s a pretty cool milestone for a small, independent blog like ours that brings to mind several other nice stats that we’ve racked up over the past 2-1/2 years…

All these numbers are great and make us proud, but it’s that last one that says the most about what makes our blog so special. We don’t just regurgitate info found elsewhere on the web – we actually visit the places you want to go, eat and drink things you may want to taste, stay at hotels you might be considering, and even do a few crazy things you may have always wanted to try. Then we tell you about our experiences, honestly and without bias (most of the time) each and every day.

In this way, we’re constantly updating and expanding a one-of-a-kind Caribbean travel and culture guide tailored expressly to travelers turned off by tourist traps; people who reject the “one size fits all” typical mass marketing of our region.

In other words, we produce Uncommon Caribbean for you, the uncommon traveler.

Our trips, and the posts they inspire, always have a purpose: to help you maximize your travel experiences throughout our home region.

In the coming months, we’re planning a few site enhancements to make Uncommon Caribbean even more useful to you when planning your future Caribbean adventures. In the meantime, we hope you’ll take advantage of the travel tips, hotel reviews and rundowns on our favorite restaurants found throughout our site.

Also, be sure to check out our travel guides to the following destinations:

If you don’t see your favorite Caribbean destination on this list, fear not: we have more travel guides in the works. More trips, more adventures and more useful information on all the places you want to visit across the Caribbean are also coming too.

Indeed, these first 1,000 posts are just the beginning…
