miracle healer noni fruit by Patrick Bennett

Nasty Noni Nails Whatever Ails You: Photo of the Day

Lumpy, pockmarked, and stinky—not exactly what you’d expect a cure-all to look like. But what the “duppy sour sop” lacks in presentation, it more than makes up for with legendary potency.

Steve and I have lamented on multiple occasions that our parents didn’t leave us with a better understanding of the many traditional uses of the flora that call the Caribbean home. Luckily for us, the noni plant is said to basically cure everything.

Diabetes, heart disease, cholesterol problems, high blood pressure, rheumatism, psoriasis, or allergies? Add a a little noni juice to your regular morning juice of choice. Sunburn, sprain, cuts, rash, infection, inflammation, or even lice? No problem, just rub some fermented noni tea on it. Depression, senility, low libido? Noni. Noni. Noni. Cancer?! Noni!

It’s like the whole pharmaceutical industry should be out of a job with these trees growing throughout the Caribbean!

To be honest, I don’t remember my mother ever treating us with this miracle healer in our youth, but I’m still game for giving it a try. How about you? Ever taken advantage of the magical miracle cure growing throughout the West Indies?
