Sailing Around the East End of St. Croix

It doesn’t get quite the run as its sister Virgin Islands to the north, but sailing around our home island of St. Croix is pretty sweet in its own right.

We’ve covered the best way to experience real, authentic sailing adventures to our beloved Buck Island, but that’s not the only fun you can have under sail on the high seas around St. Croix’s East End.

The next time we’re back home, I’m hoping to spend a day with Billinda Charters, sailing east from Green Cay to the East End Marine Park Sanctuary for some snorkeling and exploring.

Having experienced the Park solely from the land to-date, I’m anxious to see what it’s like arriving and departing by sea.

Back to St. Croix

Favorite beaches, because the food is so good, because the sunsets are so beautiful, to swim with the fish, to go sailing, because it never snows there — there are probably a million reasons to return to St. Croix. What are yours?

Hams Bay, St. Croix

It's not the sexiest side of St. Croix; at least, I imagine, not to most people. Personally, though, I love the wild natural beauty of Hams Bay.
