Thawing Out at Sandy Point, St. Croix: Wish You Were Here
We’re always up for a trip back home to St. Croix, but wintertime is extra-special. Re-connecting with friends over the Holiday Season, Crucian Christmas Festival fun, warm and sunny days paired with cool and breezy nights; are all huge enticements. The cherry on top: open access to Sandy Point, my all-time favorite beach, which is open solely to nesting sea turtles (no humans allowed!) between the start of spring in April and the end of summer in August.
