Deal Of The Week: Unlimited Island Hopping Aboard Seaborne Airlines for $699

Island hopping. It seems an obvious dream travel scenario to pursue from 32,000 feet above the Caribbean en route to your primary destination. Looking down and gazing upon scenes like this – seeing how close many of the islands are to each other – you’re almost compelled to jump around.

Err, not so fast.

Sailing, cruising, and/or ferrying around the islands is one thing, but if flying is more your bag, you’re usually apt to be disappointed. It’s not that there aren’t any fine and reliable air carriers operating in the Caribbean either. (No, I’m not going to pile on LIAT this time.) The problem is generally cost.

It’s not unusual for short, inter-island flights to carry prices comparable to those you may have paid to get down to the region in the first place, a harsh economic reality that generally keeps most people firmly planted in their aforementioned primary destinations for the balance of their trips.

Thankfully, though, one such fine and reliable Caribbean air carrier is aiming to change the dynamics of island hopping this fall by offering one pretty cool deal.

The carrier: Seaborne Airlines.
The deal: Fly anywhere you like for as many times as you like for $699.

Concise and snappy this promo title is not, but it says exactly what Seaborne aims to deliver – unlimited inter-island flights for one nice price.

Under terms of the promo, you can book as many Seaborne flights as you like and travel as often as you like between September 3, 2014 and November 17, 2014. Taxes and government fees still apply for each individual booking, you can’t have more than two outstanding reservations at the same time, and certain other restrictions may apply, but if you’re looking to maximize your Caribbean island hopping by air, there isn’t a better deal around.

Seaborne serves 15 gateways throughout the Caribbean, including our home island of St. Croix, and my second home in the Caribbean, Martinique. Additional destinations include Dominica, St. Thomas, San Juan, St. Kitts and Nevis, Guadeloupe, St. Maarten, and three points in the Dominican Republic (La Romana, Punta Cana, and Santo Domingo). The carrier’s San Juan service also connects to American Airlines, JetBlue, and Delta flights for added island hopping convenience.

For more information, visit Seaborne Airlines online, or call them at Tel: 866-359-8784 or Tel: 787-946-7800 to make reservations.
