Sailing in and around the Guadeloupe Islands is always a good idea. The archipelago consists of six inhabited islands and countless other islets, rocks, and atolls where only nature abounds. The very nature of the place compels you to hop around.
For uncommon travelers, sailing past Le Gosier is generally a good idea as well.
I spent the first two nights of my recent trip to Guadeloupe here… I would’ve been fine with just one.
Le Gosier was just too touristy for me. The planteur, too watered-down. The vibe, too anywhere.
I’m guessing the folks on this Cat were oblivious to any misgivings over Le Gosier, though, happily sailing on to more uncommon shores somewhere else in Guadeloupe…
