Give, Show Thanks to The Bahamas

As Thanksgiving draws near, I find myself thinking a lot about The Bahamas. Specifically my thoughts have centered on the areas most affected by Hurricane Dorian just 10 weeks ago. Even more specifically, I’m thinking about the amazing friends we’ve made in and around The Abacos and Grand Bahama Island over the years.

Our friends who survived the storm have much for which to be thankful, of course. At the same time, though, they also still need a lot of help from us to put their lives back together.

Many lost their homes. Just about all of them have lost their jobs, their places of employment – our favorite bars, restaurants, shops, and hotels – now in various states of repair.

GoFundMe pages have been set up directly benefitting many our favorite Abaco and GBI businesses, their staff, and families. As you get set to reunite with loved ones over the Thanksgiving holiday, I hope you’ll consider sparing a few bucks for our friends in The Bahamas.

GoFundMe pages for select Abaco and Grand Bahama friends are as follows…

Cracker P’s Bar & Grill

Deep Water Cay

Miss Emily’s Blue Bee Bar

Yvonne Outten, Pineapples Bar & Grill

Got any additional Abaco/Grand Bahama friends that you think we should add to this list? Drop us a line and let us know!
