Saturday Video: Bequia on My Mind
I can’t get Bequia off my mind.
It’s been a whole month since I’ve been back. I’ve made a couple of other trips in the interim. I’ve even celebrated a birthday. No matter; the largest of the tiny Grenadines still has me enraptured.
There are many reasons to which I could point to explain my latest island obsession – the Very Strong Rum, my very cool hotel, the characters, the beaches, the sheer natural beauty. It all matters and makes me want to get back there as soon as possible.
Til then, I’ll have the 1,300 or so photos I snapped during my four full days there, my memories, and videos like this…
I came across it the other day on Vimeo. It was shot by a talented guy from Zurich named Michael Hofer, whose experience in Bequia, aside from the Santa encounter, seemed to closely mirror mine.
