3 Uncommonly Good Black Friday/Cyber Monday Travel Deals
The Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping season is upon us, bringing with it the usual spate of incredible travel deals. Saving money is always a good thing, of course, but it’s not the sole predictor of truly rewarding and enjoyable travel experiences.
Destination matters. Choice of accommodation really matters. Things to do? You better believe it’s a primary consideration!
After all, you’re an uncommon traveler. You’re not going to be happy simply picking the lowest price on a trip to anywhere in the islands and hope for the best.
You’re much more discerning than that! You want travel deals like these…
Free Airfare + 50% Off Sailrock, South Caicos
Of all the Black Friday/Cyber Monday travel deals I’ve seen this year, I have a particular interest in this one. You see, I’ve never visited South Caicos, but it’s been at the top of my wish list for a long time now.
Provo, Pine Cay, North Caicos, and Middle Caicos have all rewarded me with some of the most amazing travel experiences of my life. Great food, rich cultural history/heritage, adventure, fantastic hotels, incredible beaches – all corners of the Turks and Caicos that I’ve managed to explore thus far have all this and more.
What I’ve read and heard of South Caicos suggests that it harbors more of the same, but in an even smaller, more laid back, and authentically West Indian style than its sister islands.
Sailrock (pictured above) embodies the best of South Caicos, in terms of luxury accommodations. That pristine beachfront location looks pretty sweet too, and really, what’s not to like about waking up here..?

The deal: 50% savings yields nightly rates starting at $399. The discount applies to all suite categories, includes daily breakfast, AND a round-trip island-hop flight between Providenciales and South Caicos on InterCaribbean Airways. Ground transfers to and from the resort are also part of the package.
Eligible bookings must be made between November 21 and 26, 2018 for travel virtually anytime in the coming year – November 22, 2018 to December 21, 2019. Blackout dates apply December 22, 2018 to January 2, 2019 and a minimum three-night stay is required.

30% Off Belle Mont Farm, St. Kitts
If it seems like we tout Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals to Belle Mont Farm each year, well, we do. The combination of property and destination here just so perfectly embodies so much of what uncommon travel is all about that we can’t help but continue to shine our spotlight over here again and again.
Seclusion, luxury, lush rainforest surroundings teeming with monkeys, organic/ital farm-fresh cuisine all cultivated locally, sweeping views to surrounding islands, and a majestic volcano towering above it all – Belle Mont Farm is quite literally the stuff of our quintessential Caribbean escapist dreams.

The deal: 30% savings apply to bookings made November 21–27, 2018 for farm stays enjoyed between November 26, 2018 and June 30, 2019. Blackout dates apply December 20, 2018 to January 4, 2019, but those are the only strings attached to this deal. No minimum night stay is required and savings apply to all room and villa categories.

60% Off Grand Isle Resort & Spa, Exuma, The Bahamas
I could not have loved Grand Isle more after staying here for an extended weekend a few years ago.
Nestled atop a bluff overlooking Emerald Bay in Great Exuma, this luxurious villa property is perfectly situated for jumping off by boat to enjoy the many sandbars and islets in the Exumas, or even swim with the famous Bahamian pigs. It’s not so far off the beaten path, though, that you can’t easily adventure around George Town or pop over to Chat ‘n Chill for a good spanking either.
In other words, Grand Isle is pretty perfect for the active, adventurous, culturally curious traveler who doesn’t want to sacrifice luxury in his/her pursuit of meaningful local experiences.

The deal: 60% savings are valid on bookings made November 23–26, 2018. A minimum four-night stay is required, but really, I challenge anyone to stay here any less time than that. There’s just too much to see, do, and enjoy here!
