We do these things not to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping us
The words “travel” and “escape” have always had a complicated relationship. This past week on Instagram, we loved sharing and being inspired to escape by stunning photos from all over the West Indies.
Reading at sunset in Tobago, a secluded house in exotic Montserrat, clambering up coconut trees near St. Vincent, snorkeling near Buck Island, or just slinking away to one of Antigua‘s many beautiful beaches — it was a week of our favorite type of escape:
Escaping to a special destination and frame of mind.
(Not escaping from something.)
