After a long day of boating and fishing fun, a sunset rhum reward is most definitely in order. It's a treat easily enjoyed in Terre-de-Haut.

Like few places I've stayed, Hotel LoBleu in Terre-de-Haut is relaxed and quite comfortably content with its own special kind of wonderful.

My favorite beaches share a level of inaccessibility, the better to keep crowds away. Pain de Sucre Beach in Guadeloupe is one of them.

Les Roches Percées at la Plage de Pompierre in Terre-de-Haut, Guadeloupe is close enough to shore to access on foot and impossible to ignore.
