Guana Cay in The Exumas – This is My Idea of Escape
With 365 tiny islands forming a barely-there dotted line southeast from Nassau to Long Island, The Exumas chain is one of my favorite hidden gems. When I want to get away from it all, dreams of these shores dance through my head. Pristine waters. A few boats slowly cruising or at anchor along the horizon. Calm waters lazily expanding and contracting their domain in time with my easy breaths. And all this beauty framed by towering limestone cliffs.
This is my idea of escape.
Come with me and get away from it all on the off-the-beaten-path beach on the north shore of the off-the-beaten-path destination of Guana Cay… If only for a minute
