Sunbathing Above The Sea in Le Gosier, Guadeloupe Islands
These curious jetty-top cabanas at La Créole Beach Hôtel and Spa offer an alternative to sunbathing in the sands of Le Gosier. I say curious as I’m not sure that many people would like the tan lines that surely result from extended time beneath them. When I arrived here on my last trip to the Guadeloupe Islands in 2017, though, the mid-afternoon sun was casting shadows behind the cabanas. This, of course, made for a more unencumbered sun worshipping experience for those perched atop the pier.
