Up Next: Getting Back to Guadeloupe

Spring is the air!!

For many of us, though, that’s not such a good thing.

As if the cold, snow, and endless dreary days of winter most of you endure weren’t enough, the sunnier days of spring bring with them their own special menace – allergies.

Here at the UC South Florida HQ, my springtime allergies have been attacking for a few weeks already. It’s time to beat a hasty retreat.

It’s time to head back to Guadeloupe.

As some of you may recall, this alluring French Caribbean archipelago holds a rather special place in my prepubescent memories…

*Cough,* err, *ahem,* err, sorry. Drifted off for a second there.

Anyway, you may also recall that our friends at Norwegian Air recently took huge steps toward making travel to Guadeloupe and Martinique MUCH more accessible and affordable for U.S. travelers. Fares for my nonstop flights to/from Fort Lauderdale were so low, in fact, that I just had to snatch ’em up the minute I saw them, even with no idea where I’ll be staying or what I’ll be doing.

So yeah, I’m flying completely blind on this one. (I don’t even know anyone in Guadeloupe!) Naturally, I’m open to any and all suggestions, tips, contacts, etc.

Hit me up here, or drop your hints in the comments section below…

The Mamelles Guadeloupe National Park View

The Mamelles in the Guadeloupe National Park are named for their breast-like appearance, but it's actually the view from these bosoms that's so arousing.
