Saturday Video: More Guadeloupe Per Your Request…
Recently, one of you, our beloved readers, requested that we feature more Guadeloupe here on Uncommon Caribbean. As a huge fans of the French Caribbean islands, nothing would please us more, of course. Only problem is, it’s been more than 25 years since my one and only visit to Guadeloupe, and Patrick has never been!
We’re keen on fixing this, of course. Today’s featured video gives some proof as to why…
Beautifully shot earlier this year by a young couple identified only as htep on Vimeo, the four-and-a-half minute film captures more than a few of the things we’d love to check out in and around Guadeloupe. From pristine dive sites little-known in the U.S., to some of the gorgeous beaches we first mentioned here, to hiking, touring quaint little towns and more, this great little video engenders big travel desires!
Just try not to smile at the 1:27 mark when a dark underwater dive scene shifts to brilliant sunshine glistening over undulating seas and lush rolling hills – we’ve just got to experience this!
