Up Next: Adults-Only Escape to Negril, Jamaica
It’s that time again. Time to head back to the Caribbean, though not for the sometimes risky, often dubious, and always offbeat solo adventuring so typical of UC. instead, I’ll be paying the pittance for the wide latitude I’m allowed in my uncommon travel pursuits, taking the wife on our annual “just us” trip.
This year’s destination: Negril, Jamaica.
More specifically: Sunset At The Palms.
I’m no dummy. The wife really enjoyed last year’s Aruba escape to the adults-only Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort. So, I figured why try to reinvent the wheel? Let’s continue our tour of the Caribbean’s best adults-only hotels by giving Sunset At The Palms a try!
Of course, Negril offers its own long list of good reasons to visit for uncommon travelers of every stripe, sunsets like this one or the beauty pictured above tops among them.
By all outward initial appearances on its website, though, Sunset At The Palms seems tailor-made for the wife’s initial intro to Negril. I mean, just look at the digs…
Yeah, it’s a treehouse fully ensconced in lush, tropical jungle, though not one of those really rustic types I might otherwise opt for when traveling solo.
Modern, stylish decor and furnishings worthy of praise from Architectural Digest, wifi, mini-fridge, a/c… Yeah, I think we’ll be plenty comfy.
What’s on our itinerary?
Well, besides enjoying all that Sunset At The Palms has to offer, I’m really not sure just yet…
And we leave today!
If you’ve got some tips and hints on things we shouldn’t miss in Negril, please hit me up here, or drop a comment below…
