Despite its fancy core facets, Rhum Clément Canne Bleue comes from humble beginnings.
For one thing, this rhum isn’t so much aged as it “rests” for just six months. No wooden casks are employed, though. Instead, la Canne Bleue enjoys its resting period in a stainless steel vat.
(Not exactly the type of “aging” most would associate with a fine rhum, right?)
Local volcanic spring water is then added slowly until the alcohol level is brought down to 50%.
So yeah, this white rhum checks in a bit above 80-proof, which to me would make it perfect for the very best ti’ punch. Only question is, how does it taste..?
