Dragon Cay Afternoon Moment of Zen
Dragon Cay is a prime attraction for visitors to the Turks and Caicos. So much so that it’s quite common to find the beach and hiking paths here bustling with activity during midday hours. Local tour operators ferry/taxi scores of visitors over from uber-popular Provo daily. They lunch at Mudjin Bar and Grille, explore seaside caves, trek portions of the Crossing Trail. Some even take a dip, or dare to swim out to the dragon. Soon enough, though, they’re gone. Peace and tranquility return to this hallowed spot. It is then that the true beauty of staying at Dragon Cay Resort becomes clear. With only seven cottages spread over 50 acres, it’s easy for guests to feel like they have the Dragon, her attendant pristine beach and natural wonders all to themselves. The wife and I certainly felt that way during the last Dragon Cay afternoon of our visit back in July 2022. Here’s a small taste of our quiet, one-on-one time with the TCI Dragon…
Our perfect Dragon Cay afternoon.
