Dragon Cay Sunrise Moment of Zen

At first glance, clouds might seem to curb any chance at enjoying a great sunrise or sunset. I mean, they obscure by definition, right? As we’ve shown before, though, a few floating fluffies can add as much as they take away from the magical light shows that open and close each day. I was reminded of this on the first morning of my latest visit to Middle Caicos. The Dragon Cay sunrise that the wife and I experienced was just all kinds of awe-inspiring…

As you can see, clouds lend the real drama and unique beauty to our first Dragon Cay sunrise.

Oh sure, the timelapse effect makes a difference. Watching this scene play out first-hand, though, was no less stunning.

A great harbinger of a truly amazing stay at Dragon Cay Resort…and your monthly moment of zen.

The Crossing Place Trail that exists in Middle Caicos today doesn't cover the full length of the original, but thankfully it still includes many of the most scenic seaside sections, including this one at Mudjin Harbour.

The Cliffs of Mudjin Harbour, Middle Caicos

The storied White Cliffs of Dover they're not, but the seaside scarp that lines much of Mudjin Harbour in Middle Caicos is stunning just the same.
