Woodlands Beach Sunset Magic in Montserrat
It is much more common of our rich West Indian tradition to hit the beach near dusk than the middle of the day. This must come as a surprise to some visitors as our cool seas are much more the panacea while the sun is highest in the sky. Still, for us, sunset remains primetime for sea bathing. When the seas are too dark for everyone else, they’re just right for us. When the fading sun casts its last, most vibrant shocks of color across the sky, we revel in the show from the sea. Of all the places I got to relive the joy of a sunset sea dip in 2019, nowhere captured my heart more than Montserrat. The wild sensation brought on by the Woodlands Beach sunset magic pictured here was really beyond words.
