Hurricane Dorian Recovery – Travel to Help The Bahamas

Sunset along sweet shores somewhere in The Bahamas… The devastating blow Hurricane Dorian dealt to the Abaco Islands and Grand Bahama last week may have some believing that it will be some time before anyone can enjoy so sublime an experience as this in The Bahamas. Nothing could be further from the truth, of course. There are more than 700 islands, islets, rocks, and cays in The Bahamas. Airports in all 14 major Bahamian destinations unaffected by Dorian are open and receiving travelers as usual. So too are the many resorts, hotels, and guesthouses in Nassau, the Exumas, Bimini, Eleuthera, Andros, Crooked Island, Acklins, Cat Island, San Salvador, Mayaguana, Long Island, Inagua, Rum Cay, and the Berry Islands. It’s critical we continue to aid Hurricane Dorian recovery efforts in the Abacos and Grand Bahama.

At the same time, though, we can also help by visiting corners of The Bahamas that Dorian did not.
