My Saint Thomas dream home. In the ofttimes that I allow myself to dream of moving back to the Caribbean, I envision myself living in a spot like this.
From a perch like this, sea breezes keep things cool. Air conditioning? Yeah, I doubt that I’d need it.
At the same time, though, you’re not so high up that the soothing sounds of the surf caressing the shoreline below are out of reach. Just imagine drifting off to sleep each and every night to that sound! I’m sure it would do wonders for my insomnia.
This particular Saint Thomas dream home, though, has a lot more to offer than just cool breezes and soothing surf.
It sits at the far western reaches of STT. This, of course, affords the homeowner one of the sweetest sunset views in all of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
With Mermaid’s Chair just below and a trail of tiny islets stretching westward toward Culebra, Vieques, and Puerto Rico, the grand finale to every day is no doubt a dream come true here.
