Sparkling Splendor and Solitude Sailing Belize
I often go on about how much I love the solitude of sailing — just you, your crew, and the blue. But sailing the waters off Placencia, Belize takes this to the next level. Most days, I’d see maybe two other sailboats off in the distance. Maybe. And only twice, once moored off Hideaway Caye and another time anchored off Whipray Caye did we ever share an anchorage. When sailing these waters, it almost feels like all this sparkling splendor is just for you.
