Looking East From Hams Bluff Lighthouse, St. Croix

Few of the views on offer on our home island of St. Croix will take your breath away quite like those found at the historic Hams Bluff Lighthouse. Here, high atop a breezy bluff at the extreme northwest corner of the island, you can easily spy several neighboring islands. St. Thomas, just 41 miles to the north, is the closest. At 45 miles to the northwest, Vieques isn’t too far behind either. Culebra, St. John, even mainland Puerto Rico are all visible under the right conditions. Don’t be surprised, though, if you miss those sights as views like this of St. Croix’s North Shore are plenty sweet enough to maintain your full attention.
