Costa Rica update:
The Government of the Republic announced this Thursday at a press conference the preventive measures that will be carried out this weekend in order to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The Minister of Health, Daniel Salas, indicated that in reinforcement of all the measures announced in previous days, cinemas, theaters, and shopping centers will be closed at 50% of their capacity.
As of today, March 19, there are 87 cases confirmed by COVID-19, with an age range of 2 to 87 years. There are 35 women and 52 men, of whom 79 are Costa Rican and 8 foreigners.
