Postcards from the Sexy Sailors: Kicking Back in St. Barts

La dolce vita.

From our perspective, no one’s embodied it more over the past couple of years than the sexy sailors, Alex and Taru. We first told you about their incredible plans to sail around the world when they arrived in the Caribbean last year. Just imagine their life together…

Each day a different adventure. Each day a new discovery. Each day a chance to truly live: madly, magically, out loud and in color amid the type of exotic tropical splendor most people scarcely dare to dream about!

A sweet life indeed, which as you can see in this latest postcard photo, is only getting sweeter!

Alex and Taru are currently in St. Barts, which as we already pointed out here, is pretty damn sweet! I made a point in that earlier post to make my first-ever trip to St. Barts before the end of 2012. With less than three months to go and my end of the year travel schedule already filling up, it looks like this is one destination that will have to remain in my sweet dreams a tad bit longer.

I count myself lucky, though, as at least I can live a bit of the St. Barts experience through Alex and Taru. They’ve been there less than a week, and already the images and info they’ve shared on Colombier and Gouverneur beaches, the safety and cleanliness of the island, and the ease of getting around, whether hiking or hitch-hiking, has me plotting possible dates for a 2013 St. Barts escape.

St. Barts also looks to be one of Alex and Taru’s last stops in the Caribbean, as the siren song of their world tour will soon lure them to South America, the Pacific, French Polynesia, and beyond. I, for one, plan to savor as much of their remaining sweet days in the region as possible.
