Pool-Hopping Along The South Coast of St. Barts
Like most people, when I dream about traveling to St. Barts, the tiny tony French Caribbean enclave of high society fun, I envision myself enjoying the same posh hotels, sublime beaches, and endless nights of partying with sexy types amid swanky surrounds that everyone else does.
I also dream a lot about pool-hopping, though not in the jet set fashion most commonly associated with the island.
As noted before, natural pools are far superior to us than most any water-filled concrete hole in the ground you’ll find at a resort, villa, or hotel on your travels. The natural pools along the southern coast of St. Barts are certainly no exception, especially those found in and around the Toiny quartier.
Short hikes along the coast here lead to wet and wild wonders like this…
