Sunset Clouds Over Buck Island from Solitude House, St. Croix
Most any Caribbean sunset carries the propensity to stop you dead in your tracks, though it’s this particular day-end spectacle that I enjoyed last November at Solitude House on my home island of St. Croix that stands out most prominently in my recent memory.
Part of the reason, of course, is the uncommon view. Sunsets enjoyed over the north coast of St. Croix’s East End are never about tracking the great glowing orb as it descends into the sea.
No here, as we originally detailed a bit here, the real light and color show is in the clouds.
