Starting the New Year First at Point Udall: Wish You Were Here
It’s been too long since Steve or I started a new year before the rest of the United States at Point Udall—the easternmost point of the country. Still, I think it’s safe to say there are few sites we cherish more from the many years we rang in on St. Croix than this one: the sky lightening, going purple, red, orange, yellow, and pale blue with the promise of a great year to come!

Favorite beaches, because the food is so good, because the sunsets are so beautiful, to swim with the fish, to go sailing, because it never snows there — there are probably a million reasons to return to St. Croix. What are yours?

Hams Bay, St. Croix
It's not the sexiest side of St. Croix; at least, I imagine, not to most people. Personally, though, I love the wild natural beauty of Hams Bay.
