Dodging Raindrops At Sunset In St. John

Dodging raindrops is a prime reason why many people escape to St. John, but even when it does rain here, the good times keep rolling. This is especially true near sunset along the shores of Cruz Bay. Patrick and I sat under the trees that line the beachfront at High Tide, the popular bar/restaurant located right next to the passenger ferry dock, as a late-afternoon downpour cooled the final moments of what had been an exceedingly hot day. No better time to hit the surf. You’re getting wet anyway, plus the sunset view is more peaceful away from the crowded bar.

Wish you were here..?
