There’s nothing ostentatious about the entrance to the Bayside Restaurant at Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort. A simple thatched roof breezeway covers wooden planks trailing toward the sun. Whitewash framing of the style you might see at any local beach shack in Saint Lucia further the laid back vibe. It all stands in contrast to the resort’s legendarily exclusive status. At the same time, though, it all also fits perfectly. Sugar Beach is just one of those few very special luxury resorts where elegance flows effortlessly.
