One More Bonus Minute on Grand Case Beach, St. Martin
What wouldn’t you give for any even remote sliver of extra time on Grand Case Beach on the French side of St. Martin? Soothing azure seas, soft white sand, gentle breezes, beach bars aplenty – there’s just no getting enough of this.
In the early-morning hours, before the crowds arrive, Grand Case Beach is even better. Rising early and stealing away for solo swims amid the surf just beneath my room at Le Temps des Cerises remain a prime highlight of my last visit here two years ago.
I’d stretch those swims to the limit, savoring every last second to the point that I often got a late start on whatever adventure I was meant to be doing. It’s just too sweet here to leave too soon.
