Running on isle Tintamarre, St. Martin by Patrick Bennett

Celebrating Six Years Of Sensational Sunsets Off St. Martin

Nothing’s better than spending your birthday on a beach.

Of course, if you can’t physically be on a beach for your special day, taking time to look back at all the shores you’ve sampled in the past 12 months can be its own kind of celebration.

For one special six year old, he can count having dipped his toes in the sands of Île Tintamarre (pictured), St. Martin/St. Maarten, St. Barts, AntiguaÎle Fourchue, and Grand Cayman!

Sure, it’s a far cry from my son Trinidad’s (Yes, that’s his name) first year of life where he travelled to ten islands in ten months, but I guess he’s slowing down in his old age.

Still, I love him. And I hope these memories last a lifetime.

Running along a secluded beach with sailboats silhouetted against a sensational sunset… Wish you were here?

Creole Rock ‘Feet,’ St. Martin

Jutting dramatically from the sea, the "head" of Creole Rock has long remained an iconic symbol of Grand Case, the sexy seaside village that in so many ways embodies the best of French Saint Martin. To me, though, the "feet" section of Creole Rock is photo-worthy in its own right.
