Loading Up The Dive Boat in Simpson Bay, St. Maarten

All the fun on land draws most of the crowds to St. Maarten/St. Martin, but the waters surrounding this French/Dutch paradise deserve a good dose of spotlight time as well. Natural coral reefs, artificial reefs born of wrecks, coral-encrusted rocks – all can be enjoyed here amid crystal-clear water at depths usually measuring no more than 60 feet.

All that’s nice, but it’s St. Maarten/St. Martin’s ideal location that makes this area a truly special dive destination. Saba, Statia, Anguilla, and St. Barts are all just short boat rides away, enabling dive enthusiasts to easily “hub” out of St. Maarten/St. Martin to some of choicest dive sites in the world.
