Floating off Île Tintamarre, St. Martin by Patrick Bennett

It’s not the size of the boat

It’s been said that it’s not the size of the boat that counts, but I suspect this line of reasoning is usually pursued by those who easily dock into slips with room to spare. Be that as it may, when presented with the options we see here off Ile Tintamarre (a classic sailing schooner, a pair of modern cats, and a 6-foot inflatable pineapple) I have to say that I was quite happy on my little pineapple.*

Wish you were here?

If so, definitely check out Sunsail’s crewed and bareboat charter options out of St. Martin.

*Of course, it helped that my other boat was a 48′ Sunsail 484.
