The Sugar Apple Bed and Breakfast has emerged from the ashes of the old Pink Fancy Hotel, elevating hospitality in St. Croix to healthy new heights.

Unlike most other city hotel pools, the Company House Hotel pool is big on charm. Much of the credit for this goes to renouned artist, Jan Mitchell-Larsen.

Hotel accommodations all across the Caribbean are designed to capture your heart. Few, however, pull off the trick for me quite as nicely as Cove Cottage.

Sleeping at The Fred is not so easy when you're traveling alone. The place is damnsexy, a fact made most obvious to me by this bed.

Coffee time is always special in Jamaica. After all, this is the land of Blue Mountain Coffee, as bold and robust a cup-o-joe as you'll find anywhere.

Bigger is not always better, of course. In the special case of high rises in Turks and Caicos, though, taller might even be worse.

There's no beach, but if you love St. Croix and Caribbean history then this view from room 402 at Company House, St. Croix is very special indeed.
