Bird Watching Zen in the Skies Above Castara Bay, Tobago

Bird watching zen is easy to achieve at the close of each day along the shores of Castara Bay. The backbone of this most distinctly uncommon corner of Tobago is fishing. As such, all manner of seabirds flock here throughout the late afternoon. Endlessly circling the skies above, they wait to feed on anything the fishermen discard. It’s an incredible show, especially as it’s paired with one of the more awe-inspiring sunsets found anywhere.

Mesmerizing to the point of being hypnotic, this is Castara bird watching zen
