When a loved one is sick, injured, or otherwise down on their luck, it’s only natural to pay them a visit; to offer assistance, support, and pick them up any way that you can. It is with this in mind that Patrick and I returned to St. Croix yesterday. It’s our first trip back to our home island in just over three years, and really, it could not have come at a better time. Hurricane Maria has a lot of people asking questions about St. Croix, doubting whether they should visit this winter, or concerned about what they’ll encounter if they do. We’re here to get those answers, erase those doubts, and ease those concerns. Over the next few weeks, we’ll share upwards of 20 posts covering all aspects of the hurricane recovery effort here.
