Pilaging For Good Times in The Virgin Islands with Jacob Wayne Bondesen

The travel is nice, as is the rum, but easily the most gratifying part about doing Uncommon Caribbean is connecting with like-minded travelers who love our home region as much as we do. We’re not for everyone, of course, a notion that had me questioning whether or not we’d be for anyone in our earliest days. Your feedback, contributions, and support keep us inspired, especially when you share ’em with us in forms like this…

Respect in the Virgin Islands | Sailing BVI

This rollickingly poignant video was sent to us recently by UC-reader Jacob Wayne Bondesen, who, together with a few of his buddies, obviously shares our spirit of adventure and deep love for the islands.

Sailing throughout the British and U.S. Virgin Islands – from Anegada to Virgin Gorda to Jost Van Dyke and beyond – Jacob and friends dive deep into the authentic flavors, places, and experiences to be had island-hopping among the Virgins.

It’s an incredible journey; one that has me anxious to grab some pals and follow in Jacob’s footsteps soon.
