Playa Tamarindo Turtle Snorkeling in Culebra
Love sea turtles? Want to live the dream of snorkeling with them? Then you’ll want to head to Culebra, the sister island of Vieques located 17 miles off the east coast of Puerto Rico. Once there, you’ll want to find your way to Playa Tamarindo. Unique among Culebra’s famed wide white-sand beaches (Flamenco, Zoni, etc.), Tamarindo is mostly rocky. The beauty here, more wild and untamed. It’s no surprise, then, that the waters here teem with sea life, especially sea turtles. Playa Tamarindo turtle snorkeling is a must in Culebra. To enjoy this experience to the max, though, you’ll want to get out to Tamarindo early in the morning. That’s prime sea turtle feeding time amid the grasses that line the sea bed.
Wish you were here enjoying some Playa Tamarindo turtle snorkeling..?
