Splishing, Splashing Around St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands

Any trip to our home, The United States Virgin Islands, must, Must, MUST include lots and lots of time in, on, and under the water. Our latest trip back to St. John yesterday was certainly no exception. You’d be forgiven for thinking that our waterborne fun was centered on pool-hopping judging solely by the photo above. I mean, just LOOK AT THAT WATER! As noted before, the hurricanes of many months past took a major toll here, but Mother Nature has largely bounced back, especially in the western part of the island and along her shores. Water like this reminds us why the Virgin Islands were so named in the first place, the mythical beauty of St. Ursula and her 11,000 virgins reflected in the seas that surround St. John as much as ever.
