Baby Beach Echoes of Tobago in Aruba
If you’e ever been to No Man’s Land, or seen this, then you might think I snapped this photo in Tobago. As I’ve noted before, the weathered tangle of wood that sits at the water’s edge in the pristine natural surrounds separating Tobago’s Bon Accord Lagoon with the sea presents one of the top photo-op’s in Trinidad’s sister island. These particular faded trees by the sea, though, sit about 600 miles west of Tobago… in Aruba. Specifically, you can find it along the tranquil shores of Baby Beach at the far southeastern tip of Aruba.
Though not nearly as wide or stunningly beautiful as the sands we enjoyed at Bucuti and Tara on Eagle Beach, Baby Beach is still well worth checking out for uncommon travelers.
Certainly, the beach experience here is WAY more local and authentically West Indian than the Disney feel of Palm Beach. Throw in nice photo-op’s like the one above (or this one), great snorkeling, and the chance to mix and meet local Arubans where they like to lime and you have a beach we just can’t miss every time we’re in Aruba.
