Magic Hour At Ocean Club East, Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos
New broom sweeps clean, but old broom knows de corners…
It’s one of my favorite old Jamaican proverbs; one that speaks to the enduring value of traditional ways of doing things, the wisdom of our elders, and the advantages of older hotels.
Yeah, hotels!
The newest properties may have all the shiniest bells and whistles, but older hotels carry a whole host of advantages born of experience that newbies just can’t touch; among them, quite often, location.
When developers in the late-1970’s hatched the idea for Ocean Club East, one of two Ocean Club Resorts in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, there were hardly any other hotels on Grace Bay. One of the world’s finest beaches was a blank canvas, leaving Ocean Club open to plant its flag on what is arguably the best stretch of Grace Bay sand.
You see and experience this most fantastically at sunset, where the resort’s ideal location yields daily rewards like this…
