Own Your Own Piece of Paradise in St. Croix
So, you read our recent post about the Contessa’s Castle hitting the real estate market and suddenly all your thoughts center on finding a way to move to St. Croix.
You want the castle, sure (Who wouldn’t?), but that $15 million price tag is not quite in your wheelhouse. You’re okay with settling for less, though you won’t compromise on the hilltop location with the view of the sea, a la the image above.
Well, we’ve got the deal for you!
Actually, my friend Jane has the deal for you.
Jane and I have known each other a bit longer than our entire lives. (Our parents perfected the art of limin’ Crucian-style while we maintained residence in our respective mothers’ wombs.)
We went to school together for the entire K–12 saga. Somehow, we both ended up carving out careers in the travel and tourism biz. We even married fine and upstanding partners hailing from America’s heartland!
Indeed, Jane and I are a lot alike. Now, she wants to make sure we have one more thing in common by selling her mountaintop land in St. Croix. (Sadly, I don’t own any land back home… yet.)
The land is located within the gated Carambola community on St. Croix’s lush and fabulously underdeveloped North Shore. The world-class diving, sugar sands, and sweet eats at Cane Bay are just a few minutes away, as is the Carambola Beach Resort. Looking west from the property, you’ll enjoy a sweeping view down into a valley, the Caribbean Sea peeking through the green.
Not quite Contessa-level, but certainly nothing to sneeze at.
The price: a very unContessa-like $28,000.
