Baby Beach Aruba: Aptly-Named, If Only Unofficially

Any visitor to Aruba with even half-an-ounce of an adventurous spirit knows Baby Beach Aruba. The white sands and clear seas here sit well away from the island’s touristy resort area along Palm Beach. At the same time, though, these shores are also very much aligned with tourism interests. The proof is in the beach’s name.

Klein Lagoen, you see, is the real/official name of this special spot. The “baby” stuff has to do with the beach’s famously calm surf and clear, shallow seas. You know, the kind that are perfect for young novice swimmers?

The nickname was applied to Klein Lagoen ages ago, effectively branding Baby Beach Aruba as ideal for family travelers and visitors alike.

Though not nearly as wide or stunningly beautiful as Eagle Beach, Baby Beach is still worth checking out when visiting Aruba.
