Many Splendored Bimini Blues
The blues you’ll encounter out on the seas that surround the Bimini archipelago always astound, but I found them to be especially spectacular in the instance pictured above.
It was our third and last day of an extended weekend family boating adventure. Most of those days had been absolutely sunny and clear. When I took time out from piloting the tender back toward our friends’ sportfish to snap this shot, though, a squall loomed on the horizon.
Thankfully for us, the rain stayed away and the sun remained trained on our spot, the combination adding a vibrant charge of electricity to the Bimini blues.
