Pool-Superior Carlisle Bay, Barbados
As pool scenes go, this one, which I captured recently at the Radisson Aquatica Resort Barbados, is pretty sweet. Only this isn’t a pool at all. What you’re looking at instead is the gin-clear sweetness characteristic of the seas that line Carlisle Bay.
It’s pretty easy to see why I found the actual pool at the Radisson Aquatica to be very much unnecessary, right? By typical resort pool standards today, it’s pretty lame and very outdated.
Even if it was magnificent, though, it couldn’t match the natural majesty found along the shores where sits the property.
I mean, why endure chlorine and the confines of a small, outdated pool when you can enjoy calm, clear, and crowd-free waters like these? For this flexing father and his little one, the choice couldn’t be more clear.
