Hidden Beach at Dragon Cay Resort, Middle Caicos
Mudjin Harbour Beach is not-to-be-missed on any visit to Middle Caicos. The primary expanse of sand and sea at Dragon Cay Resort is simply stunning. A massive open-faced cave distinguishes the western edge of the beach. Atop the cave: breathtaking Dragon Cay Overlook. Just offshore the eastern end: Dragon Cay herself. It is, in so many ways, one of the most incredible beach scenes anywhere. Hidden Beach right around the corner, though, is plenty special in its own right.
Indeed, Mudjin Harbour Beach is so singularly sweet and conspicuous at Dragon Cay that it’s easy to miss Hidden Beach. That, however, would be a mistake. Especially if you prefer that your beach fun is kept private.
HB is located a tidy hike up from Mudjin Harbour. A rugged cement path leads over Dragon Cay Overlook to an opening in the ground. Concrete stairs descend from the ridge into a seaside cave. A cave that empties out onto secluded sands seemingly reserved just for you…
