Frederiksted Mornings Along the Waterfront
There are still a few urban places where mornings start off softly, gently. Places where the early-am peace and quiet is enhanced by nature. The rustle of palm fronds swaying in the breeze. Seabirds splashing down for their breakfast. Waves lapping at the shore. Cocks crowing in the distance. For me, there are few better places to start any day. Bush tea or coffee from Polly’s in hand, reading the local paper. Feeling the town wake and stretch; rise and shine. This is most every morning along the waterfront in downtown Frederiksted.
